As American as Haute Dogs!

Check me out! Here I am in front of the BEST hotdog joint in the U.S. of A.: Haute Dog Girl in Kirkland, Washington (Yes. Kirkland is also the home of Costco. Which is why you were just thinking, "Huh. Kirkland. Where have I heard of that before?" It's on all of your FOOD!)

It's run by a perfectly adorable girl from Thailand, and I can safely say I've never had a better dawg. The bread is a lovely soft yet dense sesame bun, the dog (at least the one I ordered: the K-Town dog) is a succulent panini-ed bratwurst, wrapped in bacon, draped in sauerkraut, sprinkled with sautéed onions, dribbled with dijon mustard, and dotted with dill relish. The taste is surprisingly delicate and layered, and the stuff of dreams.

Yeahhhhhh. Ooooohhhhhbaby. So good. I could go right out there and eat another one now. Even though I'm full from breakfast. Mmm.

Tonight its singing at the Church of Christ, Scientist testimony meeting, and tomorrow its the concert at Daniels Recital Hall. Maybe I'll sneak some movies of the other performers in tomorrow's event. There's a wonderful violinist coming that I'd love you to hear. Plus everything International Artists does.

Right. See you tomorrow then.  Have a great one, peeps!

My greatest pleasure in life has been raising my four excellent children--some of whom liked me so much that they keep coming back. My second greatest pleasure has been doing whatever I can to make people laugh and create bright moments. I hope to do a bit more good in the world before I go the way of it. And if not, I'd better at least get to spend some serious time writing and singing in a castle somewhere in the UK.
