Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the things that are slightly less important–but so enjoyable and social and frankly have some immediate gratification (blogging)–and forget about the things that are more important (family), or more urgent (finishing the actual novel that all of this blogging is intended to support and be a place of practice for.)
Today, I am focusing on the urgent and the important. Maybe tomorrow too – especially as one of my dearest friend’s daughters is getting married then and we’ll be enjoying the day with them. And then, when my head is back on straight (which I’ve scheduled for Sunday or Monday) I’ll be back here to share and enjoy your company. But it will be in the proper priority at that point. I’m pretty certain. 🙂
It must be on my mind, because I’ve blogged about focus on www.smashingstories.blogspot.com today as well. And about just continuing to make things and do things and not worrying about becoming the greatest in the world on www.threegnomes.blogspot.com.
You could always go take a gander at those today, if you like.
